License-plate reading camera leads to arrest

DAVENPORT — New license-plate reading cameras helped Lincoln County Sheriff's Office deputies recover a stolen vehicle and arrest its driver Wednesday morning eight miles west the city.

Sarah Meadow Levine, 45, of Spokane, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were alerted at approximately 11:12 a.m. when the camera system flagged the vehicle reported stolen earlier that morning from the Twisp area in Okanogan County, a report said....
