Broadband contract awarded

DEER MEADOWS — Lincoln County commissioners have awarded a $7.27 million contract to extend high-speed broadband service to the Deer Meadows and Seven Bays areas.

Broadband Director Margie Hall recommended the award to Lincoln County Commissioners during their Monday, April 6, meeting.

Paramount Commun-ications of Richland submitted the low bid of $7,274,775.48.

There were three bids received March 27.

“I would like to recommend to the board that you accept the bid submitted by Paramount Communications,” Hall said.
