WILBUR — A father seeking clarification on a restraining order called the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office after discovering it listed his son as a protected person, according to sheriff’s office records.
Mitchell Ray Goodwin had cared for the boy full time for the past four years.
The order, served by the boy’s mother, Savanna Dawn Tanner, was filed April 16 after the son returned from spring break at Goodwin’s residence on Trinity Avenue. Goodwin told dispatch he did not want to violate the order but was unsure what to do.
