Son arrested after assaulting mother

ALMIRA — A local man was arrested Wednesday evening after allegedly assaulting his mother during a domestic dispute at their rural home.

Billy Jack Bragg, 29, is facing a fourth-degree assault-domestic violence charge. He was arrested at the family residence, 2679 Williams Road E., arrest records show.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, his mother, Coastal Alaska, told deputies he grabbed both of her hands and twisted her wrists, causing pain.
