No license prompts arrest

DAVENPORT — A Wenatchee man stopped for speeding Saturday, July 11, was arrested for first-degree driving with a revoked license.

Joey Brian Schoo Garcia, 28, was arrested by deputy Nicholas Pecheos following a traffic stop for driving 78 mph in a 60 mph zone along U.S. Highway 2 near North Zeimer Road.

Garcia told the deputy his license was suspended and that he was headed to see his grandmother in the hospital in Spokane.
