DAVENPORT — Lincoln County communities are exploring solar installations and battery storage to lower energy costs and improve resilience during wildfires and outages, Partners for Rural Washington and Zero Emissions Northwest told the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.
The organization's grant director, Staci Nelson, and David Funk, president of Zero Emissions Northwest, presented related information during a meeting Monday, July 20.
Commissioners Jo M. Gilchrist and Scott M. Hutsell were present; Commissioner Rob Coffman was absent.
