Two charged in wheat fields cases

DAVENPORT - Two local men have been charged with criminal trespass and malicious mischief after driving vehicles through wheat fields and damaging crops.

Christopher C. Roberge, 49, and Tyler M. Fraser, 24, both of Davenport, face charges in two separate cases.

A third incident involving ATV tracks in standing wheat north of the city remains under investigation, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office reported.

In the first case, Roberge is accused of driving a Subaru through a winter wheat field on Gunning Road on the night of July 5. He is also accused of doing donuts in the field.
