Effort aims to restore connections

EDWALL – Women in Action and Lincoln County Fire District 4 partnered Saturday to raise money for a new LED reader board during a pancake breakfast and community yard sale at Christian Heritage School.
The sign is intended to give residents a central place for community announcements after Edwall lost several longtime gathering places, including its post office and local restaurant.
Sue Lani Madsen, vice president of Women in Action and emergency medical services captain for the Edwall Station, said the project is about helping rebuild the community's connections.
