Man arrested after crashing pickup

DAVENPORT — A Reardan man was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing his pickup near Milepost 9 of state Highway 25 on Sunday afternoon, July 26.

Fred A. Frolov, 53, was booked into the Lincoln County Jail in Davenport on a DUI charge.

According to court records, Frolov was southbound in a white 2008 Chevrolet Colorado southbound about 5:28 p.m. when the truck went off the west embankment across from Hart Road, overturned and came to rest upright, records state. The crash ignited a brush fire that burned about an acre before firefighters extinguished it.
