Suspicious bag checked

HARRINGTON — A resident reported a small black bag at Harrington Park on Friday, July 24, and asked Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputies to check on it.

The caller believed it might contain drugs but did not open it, records show.

Deputies searched the area near the outhouse and a smaller park with a gazebo but were unable to locate the bag, according to the records. They noted a possible owner may have retrieved it....
