Backyard fire extinguished

DAVENPORT — A resident reported neighbors had a fire in their backyard Saturday night and expressed concern because of a nearby wildfire, according to Lincoln County sheriff’s office records.

Tamra Sue McCulley called around 10:20 p.m. Aug. 1 from 42405 Deer Heights Dr. N. She said the fire was behind a white barn among about five or six trailers and could not be seen from the road. She called back a short time later and reported the fire had been put out, the report states.
