REARDAN — A resident questioned the ongoing cost and value of automated license plate reading cameras during the Aug. 6 Town Council meeting.
Chantel Nilles said the cameras cost the town about $540 a month even though the town doesn’t have a police department of its own using them.
The local cameras are leased from Flock Safety, which also currently reports having two cameras each in Reardan, Davenport and Wilbur, and one in Harrington.
