Counties waiting on mail-voting guidance

DAVENPORT — Eastern Washington election officials say they are continuing with normal election procedures after the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Trump Administration to move forward with parts of an executive order restricting mail voting.

The Supreme Court on Monday, Aug. 23, paused a lower court injunction that had prevented the federal government from applying parts of President Donald Trump’s executive order to 23 states and the District of Columbia during the upcoming Nov. 3 general election.
