Lawyer bills are concerning

REARDAN — Residents voiced concern over town legal bills during a council meeting Thursday, Sept. 3.

Janine Burke said spending has risen sharply in recent years.

“I see and hear you as a hostile council, and I’d really like to see you working better with the mayor,” Burke said.

Former Mayor Gail Daniels said some of the dates and figures being circulated are wrong.

“This is incorrect information,” Daniels said. “I would appreciate if people would ask a specific question and not be passing out false information.”...
