Stock to lead Odessa schools

ODESSA - Odessa's new superintendent started Aug. 1 after leaving Utah for a small-town district he says he wants to finish his career in.

Dr. Grant Stock, 53, most recently of Heber City, Utah, replaced Steve Fisk, whose last official day was June 30. Stock said Fisk left on good terms to explore other work before the end of his career.

Stock holds a bachelor's degree in physics and chemistry from Utah Valley University, a master's in education administration from William Woods University and a doctorate in educational leadership from Liberty University.
