Tiger volleyball drops opener in three sets

CRESTON — Odessa opened league play Tuesday with a 25-16, 25-12, 25-18 loss to Wilbur-Creston-Keller.

Coach Alli Schroeder said the first match of the season was a tough one on the road against a league opponent. The Tigers were still finding their footing through two sets. By the third, they began to settle in.

“Last night was a tough first matchup as we opened our season on the road against a league opponent,” Schroeder said. “By the third set, the girls were beginning to settle in and work out the early-season kinks.”
