A little trip and a big promotion

Well, I suppose I owe everyone a little apology for disappearing from this column for a few weeks. Things have been busy. Really busy. Between work, the Army and everything else going on, writing somehow kept getting pushed to the bottom of the list. But I did manage to sneak away for a few days and escape to New Jersey, which was an adventure in itself.
