DAVENPORT - The Gorillas wore pink for breast cancer awareness and pushed a match to four sets Tuesday, then lost to Saint George's for the first time under coach Jill Morrison.
Davenport fell 19-25, 18-25, 25-20, 25-27 on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at home. Morrison said she had never lost to the Dragons.
"It has always been a three-set sweep," Morrison said. "And so, to lose in four stings a little, does not leave warm, fuzzy feelings, and we're gonna go back to the drawing board."
