Tigers fade, fall at Inchelium

ODESSA — The Tigers led by 20 at halftime Friday, then were shut out in the third quarter and lost at Inchelium.

Odessa fell 40-34 on Friday, Oct. 2. The Tigers led 28-8 before Inchelium scored the next 24 points and won it in the fourth quarter.

Coach Kolby Schafer said the first half was the game the Tigers wanted.

“We started strong and had a pretty good first half,” Schafer said. “We dominated the turnover battle and moved the ball well. But injuries, lack of intensity caught up with us in the second half. We will learn from it and get back to working towards our goals.”
