Nobody injured in Nov. 3 blaze
Flames burst through the roof of a home at 706 11th St. in Davenport on Tuesday morning, Nov. 3.
DAVENPORT - Fire damaged a Davenport home at 706 11th St. Tuesday morning, Nov. 3, Lincoln County Sheriff Gabe Gants said in an email.
No one was home, but fire crews recovered two dead cats, Gants said.
Dispatchers received a 911 call about 8:52 a.m. reporting smoke from the attic, Gants said.
Deputies and the Davenport Fire Department responded and set up a perimeter, Gants said.
The house was fully engulfed in flames at one point, but is still standing, Gants said, adding he is not sure whether the home can be saved.
