Welfare check closes after call

SPRAGUE — Deputies closed a welfare check Sunday, Nov. 1, after a woman reported her daughter had not been heard from in about two days, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office records.

Rhonda Sue Pratt, 63, of Sprague, called about 7:41 a.m. requesting a check on her daughter, Kourtnie Tayler Pratt, 41, also of Sprague, the report stated. She said her daughter’s boyfriend had been abusive and that both used methamphetamine.

The daughter was later reported to be in the hospital and all was fine, according to the report. The case was closed....
