    On November 3, seven schools from the Bi-County came to Odessa for the 6th Annual Bi-County STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Challenge.     Bill died peacefully on November 1, 2015 at East Adams Care Center in Ritzville at the age of 89. He was born April 7, 1926 to Mark and Anna Havlicek and grew up in Odessa, graduating in 1944.     At their regular monthly meeting November 5, members of the Old Town Hall Rejuvenation Society (OTHRS) met to discuss future events and fundraising opportunities for the group. At the top of the agenda was discussion of the possible replacement of the ramp to the east entrance to the dining hall, which has begun to be used frequently by area seniors attending lunch and exercise programs offered at the facility.     Virginia Gail Fiess, age 70, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2015, after a brief hospital stay at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She was born to the late William Cinotto and the late Dorothy (Meyers) Cinotto on December 30, 1944, at Madison Street Hospital in Seattle.     The Odessa School District Curriculum Advisory Committee serves the purpose of reviewing and making recommendations to the school board regarding the adoption of new curriculums and programs.     The Odessa Lions Club will hold its 74th annual Turkey Carnival Saturday, November 21, at the Odessa Community Center.
