    Washington state's FBLA Leadership Conference in Spokane April 19-22 was attended by 35 students from Odessa High School. The trip began with a tour of the KREM2 News studio, where members toured the facility and spent time experimenting with the green screen backdrop used for weather reports, meeting the news anchors and watching the live noon broadcast.     Odessa HS FBLA put in a lot of hard work this year with the seventh grade class for their American Enterprise Project. The topic this year was fair trade, a type of business operation for trade in which fair prices are paid to producers in developing countries. It is a trading partnership based on transparency and respect that seeks greater equity in international trade.     The Washington State FBLA Leadership Conference was held at the Spokane Convention Center April 20-23, attended by 27 students from Odessa High School. The trip began with a business meeting at North Town Mall Wednesday morning, where chapter members met with Odessa High graduate Erik Walter, who now works for General Growth Properties (owner of North Town and Spokane Valley Malls), and with the company's general manager John Shasky.
