DAVENPORT — The state Department of Fish and Wildlife will allow fishermen to catch white sturgeon in Lake Roosevelt beginning Jun 15. The opening remains in effect from Grand Coulee Dam in Grand Coulee upriver to the China Bend boat ramp on Northport Flat Creek Road east of Barstow. Margaret Delrose Jackson, 65, died May 13, 2020, from the end stage of COPD complications at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. A 13-year resident of Davenport, she was born Feb. 17, 1955. A questionable call was made by the Davenport umpire at home plate after a short fly ball that landed foul, and the Davenport player at third headed for home. DAVENPORT — A charitable organization from Prosser donated 500 KN95 masks to Lincoln Hospital last week. Mustangs for Mustangs, a group comprising current and former staff and students from Prosser High School — the Mustangs, in sports — donated 2,500 masks to rural hospitals.
