Stan Wills was one of the two gentlemen who came to Reiman Park in Odessa to demonstrate Colonial era clothing and other items, including muskets and coins. Stan Wills, age 60, recently took on a summer project. Half way between Sprague and Harrington on Hwy 23 there stood an old log cabin. Michael Cronrath, social studies teacher in the Harrington School District, has announced plans for an eastern seaboard trip from Smithsonian Student Travel in 2013. Students (and adults) from Harrington, Davenport, Sprague, Odessa and other surrounding communities have gone on similar trips in the past. Odessa The Odessa High School FBLA chapter competed at the Northeast Region FBLA Conference on February 1 in Spokane. Odessa had a strong showing with 41 students attending the conference. Odessa’s excellent train service ended abruptly in early 1929, with the opening of the Great Northern Railway’s Cascade Tunnel. With shorter operating time, the railroad eliminated several stops for its express trains.
