Eleven B1 schools competed for the top five spots to represent Educational Services District (ESD) 101 area along with 4A, 3A, 2A, and 2B schools.     Improvements made by Odessa FBLA members and the BLM's Chris Shafer include removing vegetation to widen the trail, removing rocks, smoothing out the ground to improve the trail tread and installing new markers and signs to make it easier to navigate.     Debbie Praetorius died peacefully at her home on February 26, 2014, after a long battle with cancer. She was born August 4, 1958 in Millington, Tenn. to Louis Wayne and Violet Mae Frederick. The family moved to Odessa in the summer of 1971, where Debbie attended school, graduating in 1977. She then went on to Big Bend Community College where she received her Secretarial Science degree.
