The duo lost their first two matches and were eliminated. On Tuesday, May 20, the District 7 track and field meet was held at Whitworth University in Spokane. The Odessa-Harrington Titan boys took first place as a team and the girls finished fourth. At the district golf tournament at MeadowWood Golf Course in Liberty Lake on Monday, May 19, Harrington senior Madison Charlton of the O-H Titans finished in 7th place with a subdistrict score of 85 and a district score also of 85 for a combined score of 170. On May 7, seven other Bi-County schools joined Odessa for the Fourth Annual Bi-County STEM Challenge. Terri King and Maria Schuh were surprised at a recent presentation from CenturyLink representative Kerry Zimmerman to learn they were the recipients of a CenturyLink grant in the amount of $3,944. The Odessa teachers wrote a grant in January entitled, “Bringing Mobile Technology to Digital Art and Media.” The grant will be used to purchase iPads, computer apps, digital art supplies, and a printer for the business and art programs....

Hannah Schmidt is the lead leg on the 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 Relays The 4 X 200 relay is ranked first in the state for the girls 1B classification. Tuesday, May 6, the Titans baseball team played Wilbur-Creston in a game that went into extra innings with the Titans losing by one, 6-7. Chance Messer was the starting pitcher, going into the eighth inning before switching places with catcher Brad Johnston. Messer allowed 6 runs on 8 hits and had 3 errors; he struck out 4 and had no walks. He threw a total of 93 pitches (72 strikes). Sage Hill On May 1, the Titans golf team took two, 2-man teams to compete in an alternating shot 18 hole tournament at Sage Hill golf course, hosted by Warden. At its April 23 meeting, the Odessa School Board approved contracts for the 2014-2015 academic year for all certificated teachers currently employed. It also approved the hiring of a new Kindergarten teacher recommended by the hiring committee, Jill Larson.
