Kern, Friedrich "Fred," (b. 2/5/1885, Russia. d. 1/2/1935). Father: John Kern born Russia; Mother: Rose Weishaar, born Russia. Fred lived in Russia as a young man and came to America in 1905, locating at Marlin, where he made his home for 15 years. During the last nine years he has made his home south of Odessa, in the Lauer region. He was married 11/29/1910 to Miss Matilda Weishaar.
