REARDAN — A 70-year-old woman was airlifted from her home on Saturday, July 4, after suffering a seizure and going into cardiac arrest, but the response took longer than usual.
The woman’s name was not released.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the Airlift Northwest helicopter based in Davenport was not available when dispatchers received a 5:07 p.m. call.
Emergency personnel responded to 605 E. Spokane Ave., for an unconsious woman
having a seizure and difficulty breathing.
LifeFlight was eventually launched with an estimated arrival time of about 48 minutes, records show.
