Serving Lincoln County for more than a century!

Volleyball club season is off to good start for area girls

For the area schools, the volleyball season ended last November. For younger girls with no organized school-based volleyball team at their disposal (no junior-high league), however, there is an alternative in club volleyball.

The Wolf Pack volleyball club is a team consisting of girls from several towns in the Bi-County area aged 14 and under. Thus far this season, they have played in two tournaments, getting third place in Leavenworth and making it to the championship game in Pasco. They lost that championship game to a team from Spokane. Three tournaments remain on their schedule. Angie Hunt of Coulee City is their coach. She is the daughter of Larry and Linda Gustafson of Odessa.
