Titan volleyball team ends week with one win, one loss

The Odessa-Harrington Titans kept their win-loss record on an even keel by winning one match and losing another this past week.

O-H vs. Springdale

On Thursday, October 17, the Titans defeated Springdale in three straight games, 25-23, 25-16 and 25-22.

Jenna Shafer led the team in service aces with 4. Alexa Boss led with 20 assists, and Chelsea Fisher had 13 kills to pace the offense.

Defensively, Jenna Shafer and Cydnee Kieffer tied for the team lead with 9 digs each. Chelsea Fisher put up 5 blocks.

O-H vs. Wilbur-Creston

On Saturday, October 19, the Titans traveled to Wilbur for their match against the W-C Wildcats. The opponents won a hard-fought match, 3 games to 2. The scores were: 22- 25 WC, 20-25 WC, 26-24 OH, 25-19 OH and 7-15 WC.

Offensively, Shelbey Watkins led the team with 3 service aces, while Alexa Boss contributed 15 assists, and Chelsea Fisher had 15 kills.

Defensively, Fisher had 11 blocks to lead the Titans, while Cydnee Kieffer and Jordyn Tanke tied in digs with 10 each.
