Chamber firms up plans for Spring Festival
The Fallert Hotel was built in 1916 by Henry and Mary Fallert and is presently being renovated by Jerry and Karen Allen.
April 2, the Harrington Chamber of Commerce met at noon with Cassandra Paffle-Dick, Kathy Hoob, Cindy Haase, Sharon Nighswonger, Bunny Haugan and Marge Womach present.
Discussion was held regarding the Lions Club's project of new picnic tables for the Harrington City Park. The chamber seemed to favor contributing to this project.
They also wanted to look into a banner for the automobile for the Harrington Royalty which is a project organized by the Homemaker's Club.
The chamber will purchase five needed garbage cans for the downtown area from the funds made available with the sale of the float...
