Special election: all area levies pass handily

Area voters in 22 precints gave yes votes to all of the levies requested in the special election of February 10, 2015. Out of 2,592 registered voters in Lincoln County, only 1,306 submitted their ballots for a voter turnout of 50.39 percent. Another tabulation of the votes will take place February 23 prior to the certification date of February 24.

Odessa School District 105 proposed a replacement maintenance and operation levy of $698,000.
