Teresa Scrupps, who teaches junior-high math at Cheney Middle School, was honored March 20 by the West Plains Chamber of Commerce as the Best of the West Plains Teacher of the Year. A Best of the West Awards Gala was held at Northern Quest Resort and Casino. She was nominated by her school principal and vice principal.
The award was announced at a special assembly held March 13 for the students and staff at Cheney Middle School.
Scrupps is a 1989 graduate of Odessa High School. She is married to fellow OHS graduate Tom Scrupps, the son of Lorus and Judy Scrupps of Odessa....
