UFO expert Davenport to give presentation on 10/30

Don’t believe in UFOs? You haven’t met Peter Davenport.

Peter Davenport is the Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, the nation’s most popular and widely accepted UFO reporting facility. The center receives, records and attempts to corroborate reports from individuals who have been witness to unusual, possibly UFO-related events. Now in his 21st year as the center’s Director, Davenport is as an expert in his field and has been featured in media including Business Week and Wired Magazine; appears on weekly radio; and has traveled extensively for public presentations.

He will make a special pre-Halloween presentation at the Harrington Opera House on Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m. He will share some of the most dramatic and convincing cases from his 21 years as UFO Center Director, culled from the hundreds of reports the center receives every month – 655 this past September alone, many on the night of the lunar eclipse. Davenport is an exciting speaker who knows his subject, and by the time he is done, you will find yourself looking to the sky a little more often and a little more closely.

The Opera House, built in 1904, is located at 19 S. 3rd Street in historic downtown Harrington. The event is sponsored by the Harrington Opera House Society and hosted by the Harrington Public Development Authority. It is a fundraiser for the Authority and in lieu of an admission fee, donations will be gratefully accepted.

The auditorium is an upstairs venue. The society is very close to installing a new elevator, but it has not yet been installed.
