One win, one loss, as Titan girls break even

The Lady Titans won their conference game against Cusick Friday, January 8, in Harrington and lost a non-conference away game against Republic Saturday, January 9.

On Friday, Katie DeWulf helped lead her team to victory over Cusick, scoring almost a third of Odessa-Harrington's 56 points with 18. She also had four rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block, followed closely by Lanessa Simon who had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also had three assists, six steals and a block. Not to be outdone, Maleah Davison added her own 13 points to the score, along with eight rebounds, three assists and three steals. Amber Smith had six points, five rebounds and two assists, while Casey Schlomer scored four points and had nine rebounds, one assist and four steals.

The Titans took a 13-point loss Saturday in an away game played in Republic.

Davison led the Titan scoring with 10 points, one rebound, one steal and a block. Simon, DeWulf and Maddy Wagner each had 8 points, while Simon also six rebounds, an assist and two steals, DeWulf five rebounds, eight assists and a steal and Wagner three rebounds and a block. Smith scored seven points, with four rebounds and two steals, while Schlomer had two points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals.

The Titan girls varsity is 2-3 in league play and 2-7 overall.
