The Odessa Food Bank will be filling its shelves with plenty of new items following last Saturday evening’s taco feed held at the Zion Emmanuel Lutheran Church. The holiday meals provided by the food bank late in the year tend to reduce its holdings, so the beginning of the new year finds the shelves getting rather empty. Food bank director Julie Jantz said about 100 people attended the event.
Local church members provided some casseroles and salads, while the taco bar items and beverages were either purchased through a grant from Thrivent Financial, a Fortune 500 financial services non-profit...
