Food bank schedule changes

Food bank director Merleen Smith has announced that beginning Thursday, September 21, the food bank will be open the THIRD THURSDAY of each month, with the exception of November and December. The time remains 1:30-3 p.m. Second Harvest in Spokane has changed the delivery date to the third Tuesday in order to make it easier for their truck drivers. Therefore, the food bank will be open the Thursday following each third Tuesday. Of course, that doesn’t always end up being the third Thursday, depending on how the third Tuesday falls.
