Marlin's Stacia Lesser gets award, maintains 4.0 gpa

Dean Mary Rezac of the WSU Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture in Pullman congratulates 2016 Odessa graduate Stacia Lesser on being named the outstanding sophomore in the department.

The WSU Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture has announced the names of its 2018 outstanding students, faculty and staff at its annual convocation ceremony. Award winners include outstanding sophomore Stacia Lesser of Marlin, a 2016 graduate of Odessa High School. All of the disciplines of the college of engineering and architecture nominated one student. Lesser was nominated for electrical engineering and then went on to win the overall sophomore award. She does not know who nominated her, but she does have an overall 4.0 GPA, is treasurer of the electrical engineering club and works part-time at the nuclear reactor.
