Members of the Odessa High School FBLA chapter were happy to receive donations from Odessa senior citizens participating in exercise classes at the Old Town Hall. The seniors donated enough to replace 3.5 windows in the building, leaving only 5.5 windows out of the original 22 that still need sponsors.

The Old Town Hall window sponsors of the week are the SAIL (Stay Active and Independent for Life) exercise class. Members of the SAIL class and their leader, Kelly Weber, have sponsored 3.5 windows! The sponsors include: Marsha Garner, Nancy Floether, George Roedeck, Jerry and Ellen Schafer, Pam and Tony Williams, Kelly and Larry Weber, Ron and Julie Jantz, Joy Puglesi, Jim and Lora Zimprich, Cheryl and Neil Jeske, Alan and Joyce Kuest, Clarene Haynie, Bob Kissler, Corrine Schuh, Apryl and Harley Wraspir, Lorus and Judy Scrupps, Vici Walter and Jo Ann Hardt.

The exercise class meets twice a week and is led by Kelly Weber from Odessa Memorial Hospital’s Physical Therapy department. The classes began in January 2018 and were sponsored by Odessa High School FBLA through grant dollars. After the first five months, Kelly and the Physical Therapy Department agreed to continue providing the class at no cost to the community of Odessa. Twice a week, 15-25 people attend the classes at the Old Town Hall to improve their strength, balance and endurance.

The goal of the Old Town Hall Window Campaign was to secure 22 groups, individuals or organizations to sponsor the cost of replacing one window at the Old Town Hall at a cost of $756. Only 5.5 windows remain to be sponsored. If you are interested in sponsoring a window, please contact Odessa High School FBLA adviser Terri King at 509-988-0430.
