Win over W/C Wildcats leaves Tigers in #1 spot

Against the Wilbur/Creston Wildcats in Wilbur last Friday, November 1, the Odessa Tigers produced another lop-sided win to remain undefeated this year.

Senior Jakob Starkel had a great game, picking up 127 yards receiving, including two receptions for touchdowns, to lead the Tigers. Marcus King added 108 yards rushing and eight yards in punt returns for a total of 116 yards gained. Freshman Anthony Elder added another 109 yards rushing.

Joshua Clark led in total points with 22, scoring three TDs and two 2-point conversions.

With quarterback Camden Weber out of action since being injured in the game against Soap Lake, backup QB Jett Nelson has done a good job directing the team's offense, completing seven of eight attempted passes against the Wildcats for 207 yards.

Brady Walter led the team's defense with eight tackles, and J. Starkel added another six tackles.

On Friday, November 8, the Tigers play Entiat in an away game beginning at 7 p.m.
