LINCOLN COUNTY – Of the 7,853 registered voters in eastern Washington’s Lincoln County, 3,506 had submitted their ballots as of as of October 27 for a total of 44.6 percent of its voting public. In all of Lincoln County, only 37 voters have had their ballots rejected by the auditor’s office. Of those 37 voters, 15 reside in Davenport precincts; four in Reardan; three each in Odessa, Sprague and Wilbur; two each in Almira, Creston and Harrington; and one each in Irby, Edwall and Deer Meadows. Most of the rejected ballots cite “HOLD” or “Signature does not match” as the comment for why the ballot was rejected. Two ballots were also rejected for not having the voter’s signature on the return envelope.

There is still time, however, to contact the Lincoln County Auditor’s Office in Davenport to resolve whatever the issues might be with those individual ballots at 450 Logan Street in Davenport or by calling 509-725-4971.

Voters can follow the status of their ballots by visiting the non-partisan website at https://votewashington.info/voter/wa/li. This website claims it uses only official state ballot data released by the Washington Secretary of State. However, any requested fixes to rejected ballots must be handled by contacting the county auditor’s office.
