The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office does not release names of individuals who report possible criminal or suspicious activities to dispatchers or alleged victims for this column.

January 17

Traffic stops: 4

An Edwall woman reported cows were in her pasture. She said this has happened several times.

Theft was reported.

A caller from the city of Sprague reported an animal attack, saying two German shepherds got loose and killed some chickens.

A Harrington man reported someone dropped off a white and brown husky-shepherd mix in the area of the old courthouse in town. The dog had been barking continuously and the caller wanted a deputy to check it out.

A welfare check was requested by a man in Delaware.

January 18

Traffic stops: 7

A one vehicle rollover collision was reported at milepost 260 on Highway 2.

A Davenport woman reported a suspicious vehicle sitting on a detour road just off Highway 231. She said the vehicle had been there all night, with windows down and no one around.

Vehicle theft was reported.

A Davenport man said he saw an ultralight flying about one mile east. He said he watched it, then went back to trimming a tree on his property, then said 15 seconds later he couldn’t see it anymore and was unsure if it was an aircraft that went down.

A two-vehicle collision was reported on Highway 231 by the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office in Colville.

January 19

Traffic stops: 5

A caller in an undisclosed location reported that he was chased by two dogs on Jan. 15.

A Wilbur woman requested a deputy at her residence because her husband was yelling at his daughter.

A Wilbur woman reported a semitruck with a box trailer had been causing other vehicles to leave the roadway when passing them due to poor lane travel.

A Reardan man reported a vehicle in the field off Highway 25 at McInnis Road with no one around, but with lights on.

A Davenport woman reported that she was sent fraudulent emails through her work email at the Lincoln County Assessor’s Office.

An Odessa woman, who drives school buses for the district, reported the garage doors were opened at a vacant residence.

Lincoln County Probation in Davenport requested a criminal history for its out of state subjects still under county probation.

A Sprague woman reported the sound of fireworks or gunshots close to her residence on the 47000 block of Sprague Highway.

A Davenport woman reported a possible burglary at a nearby residence on the 200 block of Marshall Street.

January 20

Traffic stops: 3

A Davenport man reported a vehicle parked at the end of his property in his field.

A Cheney man with Washington Eastern Railroad reported that someone tried to break into a building on 8th Street.

A Sprague woman said her brother borrowed her car around December 15 and was supposed to go to Amazon to get drug tested for work and then to Walmart but never returned.

January 21

Traffic stops: 8

A woman called from Richland requesting a welfare check on her daughter.

Washington State Department of Transportation called to report an intoxicated woman driving a Dodge Stratus about to be getting off at Keller Ferry and was to be heading south on Highway 21 soon.

A man said he saw a man and a woman doing drugs in a Toyota Camry at the Telford Rest Area.

January 22

Traffic stops: 15

A Davenport woman reported a suspicious vehicle.

Trespassing was reported. Reardan Police requested assistance.

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the Catholic Church parking lot.

Trespassing was reported.

An intoxicated male called to report a female threw a plate of food at him.

January 23

Traffic stops: 3

A Sprague woman requested a civil standby.

A traffic collision was reported.

Trespassing was reported.

A welfare check was requested from Medical Lake.

January 20

Denise Marie Gorr, 50, Omak. Arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of driving with license suspended or revoked. Found to be a habitual traffic offender.

Catherine Marie Herrman, 33, Davenport. Arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on charges of theft, identity theft and possession of substance without prescription.

Nathan Dundee Mora, 31, Davenport. Arrested by Reardan Police on charges of theft and possession of substance without prescription.

Criminal Court January 21

Monte Scott Flett, Fruitland. Operating a vehicle without a license and driving with a suspended license. Sentence deferred for 24 months on conditions of serving 30 days in jail, paying a $500 fine and serving 12 months probation supervised and 12 months probation unsupervised. Jail report date: Feb. 11, 2021.

Kevin Neil Knopes, Odessa. One county of fourth-degree domestic violence assault. Sentenced to two days in jail with 12 months probation supervised and 12 months probation unsupervised. Jail report date: Jan. 25, 2021.

Coloton Jared Moser, Coeur D’Alene. Operating a vehicle without a license. Sentence deferred for 12 months on conditions of serving two days in jail and two days converted to 16 hours of community service, completed by April 1, 2021, paying a $500 fine and serving 12 months probation supervised.

Erney Wayne Gilbert, Creston. Three counts of driving with a license suspended, one count of failing to transfer a vehicle title and one trip permit violation. Sentenced to 40 days in jail and 12 months supervised probation. Jail report date: Feb. 7, 2021.

Mark Frederick Sidel, Missoula, Montana. Driving with a suspended license. Ordered to pay a $500 fine.

Bruce M. Rients, Cheney. Malicious mischief/domestic violence third degree and fourth degree domestic violence assault. First sentence deferred for 12 months on conditions of two days in jail and 12 months supervised probation. Second sentenced deferred for 24 months on conditions of 14 days in jail with five days converted to 40 hours of community service, to be completed by May 1, 2021. Jail report date: Feb. 14, 2021.

Bryce Brown, Harrington. Domestic violence/harassment. Sentenced deferred for 12 months on conditions of seven days in jail and 12 months supervised probation.

Jeffrey Mark Carlton, Sprague. DUI and driving with a suspended license. Ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.

Cruz Ibarra, Okanogan. DUI. Sentence deferred for 60 months on conditions of four days in jail, 36 months supervised probation, 24 months unsupervised probation and a $1,000 fine.
