Local FFA assisting city of Warden following fire

ODESSA – Alyssa Iverson of the Odessa High School FFA Chapter reports that the local chapter is hosting a food drive for the Warden Food Bank. The food bank there is currently struggling following the potato-shed fires that took place a couple of weeks ago. They are in dire need of non-perishable food items and ready-to-eat meals (things easy for a child to heat up and eat), i.e. soups, mac-n-cheese, rice, canned goods, etc.

Those who would like to make a monetary donation are asked to make checks payable to Warden Food Bank. Donated items can be dropped off at the Ag Shop (behind Wheatland Bank) under the covered entryway. There is also a grocery cart available for donated food items at Odessa Foods. The chapter will be accepting donations through February 20, 2021.
