Davenport wins third straight meet ahead of league finals

Soliday sets school record in 100 meter hurdles

Davenport's Darby Soliday sprints ahead in the girls 300-meter hurdles.

DAVENPORT – The Gorillas got through their first three meets untouched this season after again winning the boys and girls team competition at the final regular season match in Davenport May 1, setting a school record along the way.

Darby Soliday dusted off a poor start (for her standards) off the blocks in the girls 100 meter hurdles and blazed past the competition. The Idaho State bound-senior scored a mark of 15.21 seconds in the event, the best in Davenport history.

Soliday's record mark and another first place result in the girls 300 meter hurdles helped the Gorilla girls team finis...
