Panther volleyball nabs first win

HARRINGTON – The Panther volleyball program made great strides last week. In addition to team and individual growth, they garnered their first win of the season against the Oakesdale NightHawks. Behind some outstanding serves by both Sami Crawford and Alika Samuels, the Panthers won 2-1. Both Shawna Williams and Carmen Meincke successfully served (for the first time in a game) and accrued a handful of points. The game was filled with many heart-stopping rallies by both teams and tremendous effort was shown tonight, with Bella and Lidia Mattozzi chasing down well placed serves and hits;...
