REARDAN--A battle of two schools changing their mascots from "Indians" following House Bill 1356's signing into law earlier this year ended in a tie on the soccer pitch. Reardan's season opener ended in a 2-2 tie with Colville Thursday, Sept. 9.
It was the first match of the season for Reardan. The planned opener against Kettle Falls Sept. 7 was cancelled due to a lack of available players for the Bulldogs. Colville came for a 2B/1A non league matchup after falling to Deer Park in its opener Sept. 7.
