Girls varsity falls in four sets at home game

REARDAN – The 2021 fall season didn't get off to an optimal start for the Reardan volleyball team. The varsity girls fell to the Upper Columbia Academy Lions at home in four sets in Reardan's home opener Tuesday, Sept. 7 25-17, 13-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Reardan got the upper hand in the first set, jumping out to a 6-3 lead. UCA then scored eight straight points and pulled away to win the first set 25-17, as the Lions adjusted to tough serves quicker than Reardan was able to.
