DAVENPORT—A speedy city council meeting culminated with council approving its lone new business item to award coronavirus relief funds to local non-profit organizations Nov. 10.
The city had $35,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds to disburse. The Davenport Gun Club received $30,000 total to help its ongoing shooting range project. The project will cost $65,000 total, according to meeting documentation.
