Davenport boys pull away from Reardan

Gorillas outscore visitors by 17 in last three quarters

DAVENPORT-Reardan came out ready to play, but Davenport outlasted its visitors and pulled away for a 76-60 victory in the annual rivalry boys basketball game Saturday, Dec. 11.

Reardan came out guns blazing against the more talented Gorillas. Owee Handley hit several shots to the roar of the visiting crowd, while Davenport kept pace as Reardan led 21-20 after a quarter.

"Owee Handley gave us a big spark in the first quarter," Reardan head coach Brian Graham said. "It helped us get that feeling of clicking offensively."
